Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 to take place as a fully virtual event

Ensuring everyone’s health and safety is paramount in this current pandemic.

Given the recent COVID-19 situation and uncertain travel outlook, the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 that is slated for 21 June to 2 July, will now take place as a fully virtual event.

Earlier announced as a hybrid Summit for water leaders and experts, the now-virtual SIWW2021 Spotlight will take place on 21 June. This centrepiece will also kick-off SIWW2021 Online, a two-week long virtual showcase that runs till 2 July. [Read More]

As the kick-off event for SIWW2021 Online, registered delegates can look forward to the sharing of perspectives and experiences by global water leaders. They will lead discussions on fostering innovation and collaboration towards a more sustainable water future.

Held over two high-level plenary sessions, SIWW2021 Spotlight will identify challenges and discover opportunities for stakeholders to leverage on to achieve water security and sustainability.

WATER CONVENTION

Over 150 oral papers and 200 posters will be presented across 48 virtual sessions at the virtual Water Convention, under the following five main themes:

  1. Delivering Water from Source to Tap (Network)
  2. Delivering Water from Source to Tap (Treatment)
  3. Effective and Efficient Wastewater Management
  4. Cities of the Future
  5. Water Quality and Health
WATER CONVENTION

With a focus on applied solutions and case studies, papers presented in the Water Convention will cover topics that range from the present-day issues (such as best practices in asset management, water treatment and waste water management) to emerging future trends (such as the emerging use and incorporation of smart technologies and data analytics for operations and planning).

Oral sessions would be held at 4PM and 7PM Singapore time, with poster sessions at 6PM to allow for live participation from international audiences.
